Meredith and Internet Broadcasting Expand Strategic Relationship, Launch Four More TV Station Sites
Minneapolis, MN and Des Moines, IA (PRWEB) August 1, 2007 -- Internet Broadcasting and Meredith Broadcasting Group today announced an expansion of their strategic relationship by successfully launching four new TV station Web sites: cbs46.com for Atlanta's CBS affiliate WGCL; kctv5.com for Kansas City's CBS affiliate KCTV; foxcarolina.com for Greenville/Spartanburg's Fox affiliate WHNS; and wnem.com for Flint/Saginaw's CBS affiliate WNEM.
Meredith Broadcasting Group originally launched five sites with Internet Broadcasting in June 2006 (Phoenix's KPHO.com; Las Vegas' Fox5Vegas.com; Portland's KPTV.com; Hartford's WFSB.com; and Nashville's WSMV.com). According to Nielsen//NetRatings, collectively these sites experienced a 140 percent increase in page views and a 200 percent increase in unique visitors in June 2007 compared to June 2006. Additionally, Meredith's video streams increased 120 percent over the same time period, according to WebTrends.
